Churchill Island
With your See Melbourne & Beyond Smartvisit Card, you will receive FREE Entry to Churchill Island.

Churchill Island is a small island homestead built on basalt bedrock that is millions of years old. The island, which is part of the Phillip Island Nature Park is now connected to Phillip Island by a bridge but for many years could only be reached by barge at high tide or on foot
across mud flats at low tide.

Now open to the public, the substantial homestead, beautiful gardens and various outbuildings were built for former Melbourne mayor, Samuel Amess, in 1872.

Churchill Island is just one of over 60 attractions that make up the sightseeing pass known as the See Melbourne & Beyond Smartvisit Card. This smartcard allows you entry and special discounted offers to this attraction and many more.
