Cooks Cottage
With your See Melbourne & Beyond Smartvisit Card, you will receive FREE Entry to Cooks Cottage.

Cooks Cottage is the only 18th Century building in Melbourne. It was originally constructed in Yorkshire, England by Captain Cook's father. The cottage was purchased for £800 and brought to Australia in over 200 packing cases, where it was reassembled in Fitzroy
Gardens in 1934, to celebrate a century of European settlement in Victoria.

The Cottage provides an insight into the Cook's way of life through a combination of century old relics and modern interpretations of Captain Cook, and a vibrant English Cottage Garden.

Cooks Cottage is just one of over 60 attractions that make up the sightseeing pass known as the See Melbourne & Beyond Smartvisit Card. This smartcard allows you entry and special discounted offers to this attraction and many more.
